Bijan Omrani is a classicist and historian. He formerly taught at Eton College and Westminster School, and is known as a writer of Latin verse, including a Horatian Ode to the 2012 London Olympics.

His previous books include a history of the Silk Road, and his most recent book “Caesar’s Footprints : Journeys to Roman Gaul”, first published in June 2017 by Head of Zeus, will be out in paperback in August – available at Le Bookshop Montpellier and online.
